Spacetron Metal Bellows' Titanium Weld Repairs
Spacetron Metal Bellows has developed, over 28 years, a process of repairing titanium hardware. Example: A machine part is going through the machining process and, during inspection, the part is rejected because it does not meet dimensional requirements. The part is placed in a Spacetron Vacuum Chamber. By applying a weld buildup, and performing and passing a radiographic inspection, the part is able to go back to machining and continue until the final processing is complete, saving the customer critical schedule time and considerable cost.
