Spacetron’s primary location in Santa Clarita, CA, is a 36,000 Sq. Ft. State-of-the-art facility, of which, 70% is devoted to manufacturing.

DESIGN CAPABILITY: Our engineering component specializes in mechanical design. We design integrated systems, assemblies, dampers, isolators, struts components, fittings, test fixtures and more. Our mechanical designs extends beyond the use of Solid Works CAD – CAM software, to include an articulating portable coordinate measuring machine, and supporting tools to support the manufacturing of space flight hardware.

MACHINING CAPABILITY: Machining starts the physical manufacturing of our Welded Product Line, from a raw ingot to a completed three dimensional part, very simple to very complex. Over 50 years of aggregate experience with a variety of machine hardware and a challenging array of customer requirements have honed the fine machining skills of our organization.
Our family of hardware supports size and complexity needs from raw volume of 80”x32”x26” to miniatures in 3 and 4 axes. Fourth axis provides rotation for complex part machining. Spacetron can also duplicate machined parts to an accuracy of .001”, provide inspection capability, measurements and verify manufacturing drawings.

WELDING CAPABILITY: SPACETRON’S PHILOSOPHY is to focus on parts where the welding process is the primary determinant of success. Spacetron has industry-leading experience with GTAW fusion welding on materials including ALUMINUM – TITANIUM – STAINLESS STEEL 321,304,316 – INCONEL 718 AND 625 HAYNES 250 – COLUMBIUM and - INVAR. Unique to TITANIUM welding, Spacetron has developed an elegant solution to Chamber welding by designing its own state-of-the-art evacuated weld chamber that can accurately weld in an Argon environment with an array of tools to produce any design feature successfully.

BELLOWS CAPABILITY: Spacetron has hands-on ability to manufacture formed metal bellows from 0.875" I.D. up to 44" I.D. with current tooling. In house expertise provides our specialty edge welded bellows.
